Instant messages are a great way for you or another family member to just say hi or send a quick note to a loved on. You can even attach a voice note or photo with your message!
Instant messages show for 1 hour by default but you can make that longer or have them show all day or "pin" them to show all the time (see "pinning" article and video).
To send a message:
From the home screen click on the + action button in the lower right of the screen
Select "Instant Message"
Enter your message and select your options
Click the "✓" in the upper right hand corner
